Our Home

Morning Star Children Home

After 2 years of building, the Morning Star Children Home in Kamulu was complete in September 2010.

The Morning Star children’s home provide a welcome and safe haven for children from different backgrounds and circumstances.

With a facility of 2.7 acres (approx. 11 000 M2), the home is equipped with:

  • 12 rooms
  • 10 showers
  • 10 toilets
  • 1 kitchen
  • 2 food Stores
  • 2 offices

We also have a chapel where the children attend Thursday and Sunday Church meetings. A big part of the land is cultivated for providing the children with fresh vegetables and legumes. The children are taking part in the gardening activities during weekends.

A playground provides space for the children to partake in different sport activities and games.

In the near future we are planning to build a primary school for our children and the community at large (Read more about this project).
