Morning Star Children’s Home has progressed inleaps and bounds since its inception in May 2006. From humble beginnings (and aspirations) with the initial pioneering group of 20 reticent and nerve-wracked kids, a small dedicatedstaff, a keen but anxious team of board members withunquestionable faith and conviction in the task ahead, all the stakeholders haveunited together and been privilege to a greatly fulfilling work that can only be described as a miracle.

These humble beginnings can be traced to Mwiki, Kasarani, Nairobi North District, in a 10-roomed rented property that the children, staff and other stakeholders have worked on innovatively and successfully to recreate a homely environment with all the prerequisite comforts and facets.

Morning Star Children’s Home aspires to enlighten the lives of the less fortunate children, according to the grace God has accorded it, and also to encourage all the participants in this great work that they have committed to undertake.

The early history of Morning Star Children’s Homeis filled with great talessignified by equally great victories engineered by the Lord, showing His glory and provision for His vision, affecting all facets of the Home, its stakeholders and the children themselves.
